Tip One – Don’t let Certainly retard your progress.
Tip one from the breaking the glass ceiling series looks at that we should do in times of uncertainty and adversity.
In the best of times, many of us fall into the trap of letting our thoughts settle on the certainty of a situation, the certainty of outcome, or the status quo. When things are not going to plan, we tend to seek that certainty of outcome, when in fact we should be seeking clarity of objective! The certainty of outcome may be nice to have and give you comfort, but in reality, it is not that common, in the fast-moving world of small business. Waiting for the certainty of the outcome will retard your progress and will delay decision making, decisions that could make all the difference to you if you only gave yourself a chance. Choose clarity, choose results, choose accountability, choose trust and choose to challenge your assumptions.
